The Hong Kong Government's Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the Hong Kong Arts Centre and Public Art Hong Kong recently commissioned us to implement an innovative revamp of Quarry Bay Park. The redesign will eventually be rolled out across all parks in Hong Kong.

Our newly created thematic visual identity and signage for the Park illuminates the seashore scenery around the area and helps imbue it with a majestic image. The end result is the most extraordinarily unique coastal park on Hong Kong Island.

Instead of the usual nannying, "Nos" and "Don'ts", signage language here has been rewritten to be more visitor friendly. For example a sign that previously might have read "No skateboards" now says "Pack up your skateboard and enjoy the seaside view". Each message is matched with a similarly welcoming informative graphic.

Harmoniously blending in with the surrounding greenery, our towel and tree concept signage conveys messages that measurably add to visitors' ease and enjoyment of the park.
